Let's give ourselfs a moment of reflection over the past few days.

Last week we had a festival here, a local one but of a big scale, with literally thousands of visitors for the weekend. I didn't go there, for various reasons, moreover because of the endless sea of beerdrinking guys, and the dreadful mess all over the floor oO. Anyway! There was also a lottery organised for the local people - including me - and I participated. And won. On 6th place. A fair amount of money! It's only a 2-digit amount of cash but heck free money is always fun!

During that festival there is also this tradition of clay bird shooting. People get the chance to shoot a fake bird off a pole. Last year, my dad shot it off, which made him "King" as the tradition goes, and my mother "Queen". Obviously it made me prince =P Anyway, that was last year, BEFORE the divorce. Tradition states the year after the old king and queen will be picked up, handing over the crown to the next king. Obviously, my mother had no intention of going and neither did anyone else of our family. My dad however, the stupid "king" for what he is, brought along his new "queen", all the way from Germany. Ha ha, oh boy what an idiot.. he put up half of our town against him with such a stupid act. We told him off already, adviced him not to take the new one with him way before the festival even started. But it just proves how smart - and rather heartless too - he is. I rather not go on about it him anymore now, heard alot of stuff that just makes me feel twisted inside. The fun stopped long ago already.

Last week I've been recording two more new piano songs for YouTube. I tried adding two more over time but I've been out of luck. Just alittle more practice is needed! I also plan on having a go at the score Harry's Wondrous World from the Harry Potter movies. The soundtrack is absolutely fabulous and I haven't seen anyone else on YouTube playing it on piano. It's pretty difficult with a tough learning curve, but I'll get there one day!

In other more amusing news, I received some wonderful gifts from Ria by mail! A lovely Rex from Toy Story (absolute LOVE), a ring that fits me perfectly, a black necklace and two wrist bands! Thank you so very very VERY much for the stuff! <3 *hugs tight*

I love the black with white wrist band the most =] It fits me perfectly and I've been wearing it daily since! The ring is also a thing I'm sticking too, even though I still need to get used to it.. I've never worn any rings before! But all the stuff sent is really really great =]

Lastly I want to reflect abit about next week: that's when my finals will start. Eight days left, and I'm really worrying about it, not sure if I'm up for it just yet.. Keep me motivated please! I'll hopefully be done with it all in one go! Generally my chances of succeeding aren't particulary slim, it's just very cautious to take. Not to be underestimated.

Fingers crossed on that!

Other than that, excuse my ever remaining absence of the digital communities, but with some luck I'll be done within three weeks =] Hope you're all doing well out there!

Well as of today I moved into my new home. Internet seems to work thankfully. Most of the stuff is in place. Only thing left to do is to put myself in bed and I'm done for today.. *yawns* Geez what alot of stuff I packed and moved today..

I feel like a total prick that - in all that time - I haven't done anything in return! And yet, with this drawing up, I don't think it's way close to what you really should be getting from me. Obviously we're all busy and I missed 4 hours from my life today because of some idiotic tests. So let this just be warming you up!

Tragedy

I don't know where to start really.

Just as I was on my way of recovery, I got message that something tragic has likely happened.

My brother-in-law's sister and her 5/6-year old son are missing. There was a brand new cabrio standing in her driveway and her house is completely turned upside down with no trace of her or her son.

We have no idea what has happened. There might be kidnapping involved. There might be murder involved.. The police is already on it.

Even though I don't see her that much, I feel involved with the tragedy. I know her, I've spoken to her just generally more than once. I've been there when she fed her son and put him to bed. But I am very involved with her parents, my sister's in-law parents. I concider them family and been spending time with them quite alot in the past.

I do not want this to break me down. My sister is devastated about it. The unknown.. I couldnt find any comforting words for her when she was crying on my shoulder. There was nothing to say. Only to hope.

Guess I'll know more about the situation later today..

Just alittle bit more and I'll probably become mentally incapable to do anything for school and that kind of shit. It seems so senseless doing that now. This is life's reality.

Update
Well word has it she probably has fled out of the country, along with some guy she had a relationship with. Why they fled or where to is still unknown. I learned she is a somewhat schizophrenic, or atleast not exactly stable. Though this is not like her at all, I've been told. Left in a hurry, pulled wires out of the walls, only little food and cloths were taken with them. Turns out that guy isnt exactly stable either. Not as in abusive, just.. in the head.

We'll see what happens next, just hope the child is alright. But murder or kidnapping is ruled out, likely.

Breaking news. No, seriously.

I don't think many know about this going on in the Netherlands, but since November last year one of our politicians was making a movie about the Islam, called FITNA, and it was greatly feared that when it was done, the Islamic world might terrorise our country.

While the day is still young and the weather gentle looking, I just take some time to update my life abit more to anyone's interest. Even though I don't quite know where to start with.

In four weeks time, I will have to move to our new house, which, thankfully, is only 10 minutes away. For the newcomers or those who don't remember, we need to move due financial issues. Caused by my dad. Who happened to left my mom a few months ago. And he doesn't seem to bother. So. I don't know him any longer, and I won't go into details about him. He's still my dad, but God he's such a disappointment for a father.

So four weeks left! Right now we're patching up the new home, painting the walls, laminating the floor, getting new furniture and everything. For one it might be interesting to move to a new house, and get away from this shithole full of bad memories where the rooms are getting narrower with every drama that still to this day happens because of the divorce. On the other hand, across where I will live lives an old friend of mine. A passing friend, so to speak, one that I havent spoken to for years or have the interest to. There's more background information to that but it's not important to know all. Point is that when I heard where we'll likely move to I felt like HELL and in all places I did NOT want to go there. For that part I'm still not keen on living there.. even if it's just for a year, which will be the case.

School is so-so with me. Alot of stress coming my way everytime, because it's a one year course people usually do two to three years about. So loads of homework, and including new subjects that I haven't had on my old school. So that's quite a hassle, there isn't really enough time to let it all come down on me. Yet I try to manage things, I really do, the end isn't far away. In a week from today I'll have some more tests, and halfway in May will be my finals. And if I pass those.. then I've proven myself once again.. In about two months from today, there will be a massive amount of stress lifted off my shoulders, because about then I'll have it all behind me.

Artwise I've been missing my art mojo quite some lately. I'm totally out of practice right now. I can't draw things straight away properly like I want, usually ending up in frustration and me giving up on it. I need to find a moment of peace and no stress probably, how unlikely that is to happen at this time.

Speaking of which, when I will visit my dear love Ria in a few weeks again, THERE I will find my peace and no stress. It's truly heaven there, being with her, having her close against me, enjoying our time together. It made me forget about *everything* from the above. No school, no divorce, no moving, no nothing. I really can't wait to see her again, she's so much fun to be with..

Hmm.. funny how that goes. There were a few things more that bothered me, but since I took alittle detour thinking about my dear.. I forgot about it all! Well let's call it a wrap then for today and kick my butt outside and enjoy the weather while it lasts. Optimism rules.

Thus Winter returns with the time of his life.. time.

I visited my dear Ria last friday till last tuesday, and it was really wonderful being with her =]

The moment I met up with her at the station I was feeling great. It was kind of strange, seeing her for real for the first time, but it felt like I knew her for years already. Well.. basically I do, just not in reality =] After going to the mall and have a drink together with her, I felt really at ease and less nervous than when I was still in the train, nearing ever closer to my goal. It felt like a countdown, with no idea what to expect after.
Talking with her was quite easy and to me she appeared really open, and not shy at all! We talked about a variety of things, all nice and pleasing, and after sticking around in the city for a few hours, we went home to her place. There we had some more fun and I got a really wonderful gift from her. Two actually: chocolate, and a Winter beenie that Tysha made for her for me <3 I love it to death, somehow. I really do!

The next day we didn't really do that much in her house. Just lying back and relaxing together on her bed next to eachother, talking about things, playing some games and exchanging interests. I brought my removable HD along so we could share and show things =]
It was later on we really started growing to eachother slowly, now that we know eachother better than ever. It's a wonderful feeling, not frightning at all. It was all new for me, but somehow felt like this was right, like I was used to do this all the time already in my life. Later on we've been watching old classic cartoons on TV because we both grew up with the same ones. Cow & Chicken, I.M. Weasel, Ren & Stimpy, the whole lot =P It's really fun!

Sunday was similar to that of saturday, only difference was that we felt even more fond of eachother as the day passed along. Later that day we got on a few messengers, checking around a few, also browsing around some movies on my HD. I frightened my dear there with Donnie Darko's evil rabbit! ^{(dont click if you're easily scared)}. I would've saved her from that if only I was faster. She was already looking away from the screen because it was dark (atmospheric), and then you get that nice shot of the rabbit, and then she looked x__X It even frightened me when I saw it again and wanted to click it away, but alas!

Monday was a really beautiful day, though not in terms of weather. We went to see Cloverfield that day, which was really superb. It's really nice to walk around with someone dear hand in hand, or with one arm closed around walking down the streets. Later on we went shopping - as it was our final day together sadly enough. While I got myself a nifty new wallet (which was badly needed) and a gorgeous looking dragon statue, Ria bought herself an expensive shiney new MP3 player =P Her old one broke and I looked at it, but it's not really that respondive. After what she told me about UK ways of Technical Support it feels like a real rip-off to bring in the player to have a look at it, and pay *money* only to hear that it can't be fixed. I also bought her a small gift for her birthday; Resident Evil 4. I know she loves that came so much - and I played it already myself - so I got it for her!
I really felt at ease that day with Ria, and actually felt people were watching us with jealous eyes. =P Gave me a self confidence-boost really! Ah yes..

Tuesday was our last day together - for now - which wasn't too pleasant. While we were nearing the station it really started to rain hard and the shower I took earlier seemed entirely unnecessary; I got one right there on the streets. To make matters worse, when we arrived at the station, the train I needed was cancelled =|
.. That's where I got a first-hand meeting with the sissy traindrivers of the UK. I always heard from it to be not that good, but had no problem getting to her the first day. Well, I missed my train. And had to take a different one. Unfortunately there wasn't much time to say goodbye with her, but I did do something with her that I haven't done for years with such honesty. She knows what I mean =]
I missed my flight later on, because of the train. Had to pay for the next one, which I had to wait 5 HOURS for x__X God I was so bored that day, as the only thing I had was my music and a book by Dan Brown. That's not enough to pass 5 hours with in all ease. Anywho, after I got in Holland it was still a 2 hour drive by train. When I got home I felt like brainfood. I was so dead, so I head for bed right away.

All in all the time being with her was absolutely wonderful. It was so great to be able to forget about the shit that's been going around here at home, and just feel happy and free and.. just.. being in love with someone.. Never before in life I felt so close to someone, and we are only at the basics right now. So God knows what more I can expect. We do it all slowly, by the way, not getting into things that soon. One step at a time!
Ria's just.. so open and honest, and so wonderful and cute on both the inside and outside. It's been really great being with her, hearing her talk about things, seeing her listening to me, making time for me. It felt so wonderful to cuddle with her, her head resting on my chest. Ahh.. She makes me feel special! <3

Next visit will be planned for May, and a longer visit for the summer! I'm sure it will be just as wonderful as this one, while it may even be better aswell!

General updates (lots of yabba bla bla)

.. and on a typical sunny saturday afternoon, I discovered that healthwise there is nothing wrong with me. Now don't pull strange faces, but there always was something about a certain place on my body that had me worried, wether it's normal or not for it to be that way. After I casual search on Google, on the first hit, I discovered it's entirely normal and nothing should - or could - be done about it.

Nobody in the entire world knew about this, not a single person in the world. So don't ask the whos and whats, please =]

This up upcoming friday I will pay a first-time visit to my wonderful dear crimsonscales, which is both exciting and nervous-making! I hope for both of us we will enjoy our time and see what comes out of it, if we are entirely meant for eachother =] Maybe we are, who knows! But I'm quite confident we will have a wonderful time together =]

About my parent's divorce; many things have happened, but finally things are starting to look better =] Our house has been sold, but we found a new place now! Me and my mother will move in there halfway during April or so. Right now we started fixing the place up, painting the walls and such. My mother is still in need of a job however. As soon as that is found, things will *finally* settle. For the bigger part atleast.

School wise, things are so-so. I got two tests this wednesday and I better do good at them! It isn't hopeless, aslong as I keep trying, but isn't always easy with so much emotional/financial mess going around here between my two parents. Buh. Ah well, in the end of May I will have my final exams, and if I pass those.. wewt.. I proved myself one hell of a deal..

Lastly, I'm ever so slowly starting to reestablish a connection with people online. I do not know when or if I am available to general public again, or everyone on my list. I've seen so many people trying to add me in the past, which most I've declined. Oh, that actually brings me to something else: ever since I'm on FA, I had a few weirdos noting me for "RPing", aswell as on dA. I'm absolutely no fan of this RPing, and if that's the only reason people want to add me.. no way. Go play your fantasies on someone else.

Final thoughts, my mature art that was found on Herpy.net earlier last week has been taken down, and all is good now.

Two things! Yesterday late I had the most wonderful time of talking with my love Ria over the microphone for the first time! Even though she didn't have a microphone (or maybe there is one somewhere on your lappy we don't know yet oO..), it was REALLY priceless and oh so much fun together =] It did got late but I enjoyed every minute of it! <3

Also in about four weeks from now, during Spring Break, we plan on meeting up with eachother in the UK =] I'm looking REALLY much forward to seeing her and have a great time together, but there have be a good few things done prior! I'm sure all will be well when the time is there ;)
